
Dr. Silvia Zanotta
Silvia Zanotta, Dr. phil., works in her own practice as a psychotherapist for children, adolescents, adults and families in Zurich, Switzerland. In addition to person-centred psychotherapy (Carl Rogers), clinical hypnosis (Milton Erickson), psychoimaginative trauma therapy PITT (Luise Reddemann) and ego-state therapy (John and Helen Watkins), she is also certified in Somatic Experiencing (Peter Levine), Resource Therapy (Gordon Emmerson) and Somatic Ego State Therapy (Maggie Phillips) and complements this holistic spectrum with energetic psychology/tapping acupressure. Special areas of expertise are the treatment of post-traumatic stress, anxiety, phobia, compulsion and autism as well as the combination of Ego State Therapy and hypnosis with somatic methods.
Silvia Zanotta has lectured at various international congresses in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Poland, Canada and South Africa on trauma, ego-state therapy and their specialities and teaches in various European countries. She is a trainer, supervisor as well as founder and co-director of the Ego-State Therapy and Resource Therapy Training in Switzerland (www.egostatetherapie.ch) and author of various articles in specialist books and journals as well as her own book publication "Wieder ganz werden - Traumaheilung mit Ego-State-Therapie und Körperwissen" (Carl Auer, 2018).
